It depends on the vehicle and how much you cover. A full wrap on a car runs roughly 200 to 250 square feet, while a full-size cargo van can be 350 to 450. Spot graphics use far less.

How to estimate vehicle wrap square footage
The quick rule of thumb: a full wrap takes roughly 200–250 ft² of vinyl on a sedan, 250–300 on an SUV or pickup, 350–450 on a full-size cargo van, and 500–650 on a 16–18 ft box truck. Spot graphics — logos, lettering, and contact info on key panels — use a fraction of that, often just 10–60 ft² depending on the vehicle.
Instead of making you measure every panel, the estimator pairs your vehicle class with the typical dimensions for that class and looks up the vinyl range installers plan for at each coverage level — spot graphics, partial wrap, or full wrap. It gives a low–high range rather than a single number because glass, trim, bumpers, and roof coverage all change the real footage. And it estimates material only, never a dollar figure — pricing comes with your quote.
A worked example: pick Cargo van (full-size) and Full wrap and the tool shows 350–450 ft² of estimated vinyl.
