About the product

The label your customer reads when something trips

A panel label gets read at the exact moment your customer needs an electrician. We design panel labels in Buffalo, MN for electrical contractors and produce them with trusted print partners: circuit directories set from your own circuit list, service stickers that tell the owner who to call, and arc-flash warning labels. Your header is set up once, so a repeat order only needs the next job's circuit list and quantities.

  • Set from your list

Send the spreadsheet or Word file you already use and we set every circuit.

  • One proof per job

Every version and its quantity on one page, approved before anything prints.

  • Ready for the next job

Your logo and header stay on file for repeat orders.

How to choose

Pick the labels for the job

  • Circuit directory

Lists what every breaker serves. The National Electrical Code asks for one on or next to every panelboard (NEC 408.4), and a printed directory is far easier to read than handwriting on the door.

  • Service sticker

Your logo and phone number on the front of the panel, so the owner knows who to call next time. Put one on every panel you install or service.

  • Arc-flash warning

Switchboards and panelboards outside of homes that may be serviced while energized need an arc-flash warning label (NEC 110.16). We print it with the details your team supplies.

  • Mechanical and HVAC labels

Glycol and condensate line labels, valve tags and equipment stickers for mechanical contractors.

How ordering works

From circuit list to panel door

  1. Send your circuit list. The spreadsheet or Word file you already use, one table per panel, with the quantity for each.
  2. We set up your header once. Your logo, company name, phone number and the voltage and phase details you want on every label.
  3. You approve one proof showing every version side by side with its quantity.
  4. It goes to production. Your labels are printed and cut to order from the approved proof.
  5. Reorders are simple. Send the next job's circuit list and quantities. Your header is already on file.

FAQ

Panel label FAQ

What does a panel circuit directory need to show?

Each circuit, identified by what it serves. The National Electrical Code asks for a circuit directory on the face of the panel, inside the door or in an approved spot next to it (NEC 408.4). You supply the circuit list and we print it exactly as you approve it on the proof.

Do you print arc-flash warning labels?

Yes. Equipment such as switchboards and panelboards in buildings other than homes needs an arc-flash warning when it may be serviced while energized (NEC 110.16). We print the labels with the details your team provides, sized to fit the equipment.

What size is a panel service sticker?

3 x 5 in is a common size for a who-to-call sticker on the front of a panel. It fits your logo, company name and phone number where the owner will see it. We can print any size.

Can I send my circuit list as a spreadsheet or Word file?

Yes. Send the file you already use, with one table per panel and the quantity for each. We set the labels from it and show every version on the proof.

Do I have to set up my logo for every order?

No. Your header is set up once and kept on file, so a repeat order only needs the next job's circuit list and quantities.

Do you make labels for mechanical and HVAC equipment?

Yes. We also print glycol and condensate line labels, valve tags and equipment stickers for mechanical contractors. Send the sizes and quantities for a quote.

How long do panel labels take?

They are made to order. Production time depends on the size, the number of versions and the quantity, and we confirm a delivery date with your proof.

How much do panel labels cost?

It depends on the size, the number of versions and the quantity, so we quote each order on its own. Send the sizes and quantities for a free quote.
