Free Print Templates

Start your artwork on the right foundation. Each template is a print-ready PDF with the bleed, trim, and safe-area guides already in place — open it in Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity, Canva, or any app that reads PDF, drop in your design, and export. Built by SHIFT Design in Buffalo, MN.

How to use them

Setting up a print-ready file

1. Design to the red bleed edge. Any background or image that should run to the edge of the finished piece must extend all the way to the outer red line, so trimming never leaves a white sliver.

2. Keep text inside the blue safe line. Cutting has a small tolerance, so keep logos, text, and anything important at least 1/8" inside the trim — the blue guide shows where.

3. Export at 300 DPI in CMYK, hide the guides. Turn off or delete the guide layer, flatten, and export a print-ready PDF. Not sure your images are sharp enough? Check them with our image resolution checker, and confirm bleed with the bleed & safe-area calculator.

Rather hand it off? Our graphic design team sets up print-ready files every day. Just start a quote.
